Z4Web Ltd Website & Service Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. Introduction

These Website and Service Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of websites and online services operated, managed, hosted, maintained, sponsored or supported by Z4Web Ltd ("Z4Web", "we", "us" or "our").

They may apply to Z4Web websites including Z4Web.com, Z4WebDomains.com, Z4WebAgency, Z4WebVideos and Z4WebReviewTool, as well as websites and digital services provided for customers, artists, businesses, organisations or other partners.

Additional terms may apply to particular products or services.

By using a website to which these Terms apply, or by purchasing or using a Z4Web service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the relevant website or service.

2. Website Use

You must use our websites lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use a website in breach of applicable law.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts.
  • Introduce malicious software or harmful code.
  • Interfere with website operation or security.
  • Attempt to circumvent security controls.
  • Conduct unauthorised data mining, scraping or harvesting.
  • Use website content for unauthorised commercial purposes.
  • Use a website to facilitate fraud or other unlawful activity.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.

We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where necessary for security, legal or operational reasons.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content, software, graphics, text, designs, logos and other materials provided by Z4Web are owned by or licensed to Z4Web Ltd.

You may access and use such materials for the normal purpose of using the relevant website or service.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, licence or commercially exploit Z4Web-owned material without permission, except where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Z4Web's intellectual property to you.

4. Customer Content

Where a service allows you to upload or publish text, images, audio, video, documents or other material ("Your Content"), you remain responsible for it.

You confirm that:

  • You have the necessary rights to use Your Content.
  • Your Content does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Your Content is not unlawful.
  • Your Content does not contain malicious material.
  • Your Content complies with these Terms.

You grant Z4Web a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and technically process Your Content where reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure or operate the service.

This does not transfer ownership of Your Content to Z4Web.

We may remove or restrict content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, applicable law or another person's rights.

5. Accounts

Some services require an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information.
  • Keeping account information up to date.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • Taking reasonable steps to secure your account.

You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Z4Web Services

Z4Web may provide services including:

  • Domain registration and management.
  • Website hosting.
  • Website design and development.
  • Website maintenance.
  • Website administration.
  • SSL and security services.
  • Digital marketing.
  • Online tools and software.
  • Membership and subscription services.
  • Other digital services.

Specific services may be subject to separate quotations, agreements, service descriptions or additional terms.

Where specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms will normally take precedence for that service.

7. Domain Names

Domain registration and management services are subject to the rules of the relevant domain registry, registrar and applicable domain authority.

Domain availability cannot be guaranteed until registration is completed.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate registration information and ensuring they have the right to register and use a domain.

Domains may be subject to:

  • Renewal requirements.
  • Expiry dates.
  • Transfer procedures.
  • Suspension rules.
  • Registry policies.
  • Dispute procedures.
  • Redemption or recovery charges.
  • Additional registrar or registry requirements.

Failure to pay renewal charges on time may result in suspension, expiry or loss of a domain.

Additional domain-specific terms may apply.

8. Hosting and Website Services

Where Z4Web provides hosting or website services, the relevant quotation, order or service agreement will describe the services provided.

Customers remain responsible for content and data placed on their website unless otherwise agreed.

Hosting and website services must not be used for unlawful activity, malicious activity, spam, abuse or activities that threaten the security or operation of Z4Web infrastructure.

We may suspend a service where reasonably necessary to protect our infrastructure, comply with the law or prevent serious misuse.

9. Sponsored and Client Websites

Z4Web may provide websites, hosting, development, maintenance, sponsorship, administration or technical services on behalf of another organisation.

Where this occurs:

  • The client or sponsoring organisation may own the website and its content.
  • The client may determine the purposes for which visitor information is collected and used.
  • The client may have its own Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • Z4Web may act as a technical service provider or data processor.

The applicable client agreement or service agreement will determine the respective responsibilities of Z4Web and the client.

10. Fees and Payments

Prices will be stated on the relevant website, quotation, order, invoice or agreement.

Unless otherwise stated, charges are payable in accordance with the applicable payment terms.

VAT and other applicable taxes may be added where required.

Failure to pay amounts due may result in suspension, non-renewal or termination of services and recovery of outstanding amounts.

11. Renewals

Some services may renew automatically.

Where automatic renewal applies, the relevant renewal arrangements will be communicated at the time of purchase or subscription.

Customers are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.

Domain renewals are also subject to relevant registrar and registry deadlines.

12. Cancellation and Termination

Cancellation, refunds and termination rights depend on the service and the agreement under which it is provided.

Where separate service terms apply, those terms will govern cancellation and termination.

Z4Web may suspend or terminate services where:

  • You materially breach these Terms.
  • Payment remains overdue.
  • The service is being used unlawfully.
  • The service creates a significant security risk.
  • We are legally required to do so.
  • A critical third-party service or registry becomes unavailable.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before suspension or termination.

13. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under UK consumer protection legislation.

Where you are a consumer, applicable statutory rights will continue to apply.

14. Service Availability

We use reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of our websites and services.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Services may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, technical faults, security incidents, third-party failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

15. Third-Party Services

Z4Web may use third-party platforms, registries, software, hosting infrastructure, payment providers and other services.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Z4Web is not responsible for changes or failures outside our reasonable control.

16. Privacy and Cookies

Our processing of personal information is explained in the applicable Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies is explained in the applicable Cookie Policy.

For sponsored or client websites, additional privacy and cookie information provided by the relevant organisation may also apply.

17. Security

You must not attempt to:

  • Gain unauthorised access.
  • Circumvent security controls.
  • Access another customer's account.
  • Interfere with authentication systems.
  • Introduce malicious software.
  • Conduct unauthorised security testing.

We may report suspected unlawful or malicious activity to the appropriate authorities.

18. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current.

However, information may occasionally contain errors or become outdated.

Website information should not be treated as professional legal, financial, accounting or other regulated advice unless expressly stated.

19. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to that, Z4Web will not be liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseeable losses arising from use of our websites or services.

Where permitted by law, we will not be responsible for losses arising from:

  • Misuse of our services.
  • Failure to protect account credentials.
  • Customer-supplied content or information.
  • Third-party services outside our control.
  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Where a separate service agreement contains specific liability provisions, those provisions will apply to the relevant service.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Z4Web for reasonable losses, costs or claims arising directly from:

  • Your unlawful use of our services.
  • Your material breach of these Terms.
  • Your infringement of another person's rights.

This does not apply to losses caused by Z4Web's own unlawful conduct or breach of its contractual obligations.

21. Events Outside Our Control

Z4Web will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include:

  • Major internet or telecommunications failures.
  • Power failures.
  • Cyber attacks.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Fire or flood.
  • Government action.
  • Industrial disputes.
  • Third-party infrastructure failures.
  • Domain registry or registrar failures.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

22. Suspension

We may temporarily suspend access to a website or service where reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect systems.
  • Protect customers.
  • Investigate security incidents.
  • Perform maintenance.
  • Comply with legal requirements.
  • Prevent fraud or abuse.

Where reasonably practicable, appropriate notice will be provided.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, technology, business, third-party services or applicable law.

The date at the top of these Terms shows when they were last updated.

Where a significant change affects an existing contractual service, we will provide any notice required by law or the relevant agreement.

24. Assignment

Z4Web may transfer or assign its rights and obligations where reasonably necessary in connection with the operation, restructuring, sale or transfer of all or part of its business, subject to applicable law.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written agreement unless applicable law permits otherwise.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified or removed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with applicable service-specific terms, quotations, orders, agreements and policies referred to in them, form the agreement governing the relevant use of Z4Web websites and services.

Specific service terms will take precedence where there is an inconsistency with these general Terms.

27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
